Welcome to the beautiful wedding of Cushendall couple, Kathleen & Patrick at the Tullyglass Hotel in Ballymena.
After our very first meeting when they were in their wedding planning era, it was clear how excited they were for their upcoming wedding day. Kathleen & Patrick were full of warmth, laughter, and knew the people who mattered most to them and who was to be photographed well.
Welcome to Kerri-Ann & Jack’s amazing and romantic Seaview wedding and the exquisite views of the Redcastle Hotel in Donegal.
It’s great being back at the Redcastle in Donegal. The Redcastle and it’s staff are always so welcoming and it is such a beautiful Irish wedding venue. Couples love this wedding location for it’s scenic views of the coastline and green forest areas.
Welcome to the romantic Spring wedding of Natalie & Emma at the fabulous Redcastle Hotel in Donegal.
You might remember this fab couple from earlier in the year at their Galgorm engagement shoot which you can see here.
Natalie & Emma’s wedding was in late April and we were blessed with some super weather - what better place to enjoy the sunny weather than by the sea at the Redcastle in Donegal.
From the very first time I met these two, I knew that I was in for a fun day. We met up for a chat on zoom way back when, when they were planning their Limavady wedding. I think Gemma and Chris knew they were choosing me from their research but just wanted to be sure plus I had done a gorgeous wedding (Eimear & Ethan) for a couple of their friends a few years ago.
Emma and Natalie met me at the beautiful Galgorm Resort in Ballymena for their engagement shoot. We began indoors as it was raining. Come on! This is Northern Ireland and rain is good luck!
Let me start by saying this: you are not expected to know how to design a wedding album. That’s my job.
I’ve explained this process hundreds of times over email, WhatsApp, and Messenger, so it made sense to finally put it all in one place — with examples — so you can enjoy choosing your album instead of dreading it.
We’re back at the fab Redcastle Hotel (one of my all-time favourite venues) for today’s real wedding story — Rikita & Jordan’s gorgeous Limavady wedding.
After a brilliant engagement shoot with these two, I was seriously looking forward to their big day, and it did not disappoint.
My day kicked off with Jordan at his home outside Coleraine. We started out in the yard with a mix of machinery and cars, capturing Jordan and the lads in their everyday clothes — a bit of bonus coverage before the usual groom prep. Jordan was an absolute star from start to finish. When the groom is fully up for it, my job becomes very easy.
Inside the house, I spotted a gorgeous mirror that I simply had to use. As I lined up a few reflection shots of Jordan, along came pageboy Caiden, who completely stole the show by casually photobombing his dad and looking up at him. Unreal. Proof once again that the best moments are always the unplanned ones.
Orlágh & Jordan’s Amazing Wedding At Lough Erne Resort Enniskillen.
Orlágh and her mum first found me at a wedding show a couple of years ago. It was a quiet one - my stand was beside a closed bar - so I may have snuck over back and forward to watch the United match (just to get my steps in). I spotted Orlágh and her mum from the bar, dashed over to say hello, and that evening an email landed to meet her groom-to-be, Jordan. A great result all round… and United won too which felt like a good omen.
Welcome to the winter wedding of Shauneen & Emmett.
At least, that’s what the calendar says. Even though it looks like it’s the middle of July, this is actually a November wedding. What’s an Irish wedding without the weather having a mind of its own. For all you brides and grooms researching when in the year to have your Donegal wedding, this gorgeous wedding isn’t much help as this time next year, there could be snow on the lovely grounds of the Redcastle Hotel in Donegal. Side note, July 2023 was monsoon season in Northern Ireland!
“We could not recommend Shea highly enough! He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and made us both feel right at ease from the first time we met with him!.”
